It’s the Holiday Season and we are giving you what you always wanted, another issue of Prerunner Maniac…YEAH!!!
Well it has been an exciting year for us here at Prerunner Maniac, we have a new design for our online magazine, we now offer a digital version of our magazine, and our budget grew so we were able to cover more races this year.
We got some new camera and video equipment, and you will see a lot more videos from us on the site, on YouTube and now you can see our vids on Blip.TV, Vimeo, AOL Video, and iTunes.
This month we are featuring the last race of the Best in the Desert series, the TransWest Ford Henderson 250, where Sam Berri did his work and won the overall. Next we did another How-To video. This time we show you how to shorten a bumpstop. You won’t believe how easy it is. Then I wrote a short article on the differences between 2WD prerunners and 4WD prerunners and what you should consider when you build your next prerunner.
Lastly we were off to Laughlin Nevada for the SNORE Rage at the River. This was one of the best races of the year and a great way to close the 2010 racing season.
We have an article on tap featuring the race team Riot Racing but because of the Holidays it will have to wait until the next issue.
Oh and a little side note, there is a saying, “imitation is the highest form of flattery”. I got the December issue of OFFROAD Magazine and saw an article on the cover, “Short-Course vs. Desert”….my Wife heard me laughing and asked what was so funny? I showed her the cover and she laughed too. The reason this is funny is we had already did the article, “ Pro2 vs. Trophy Truck What Makes Them Different” with the help from the guys over at Brenthel Industries. So you can see how this made me (the little guy) feel like a GIANT!!!
That’s all for this month.
See you in the Dirt
