It is a great new year for Off Road Racing. Already we see new sponsors on trucks and organizations. So where is my cut of the pie? Just kidding!!!
We start this month with a look at GMC’s new concept truck that has more off road capabilities and packaged in a 3/4 ton truck.
You might have already seen this video, but we liked it so much we had to share it. Ford has created a multi-part video series finding ways to torture the new EcoBoost motors. Well this episode shows how it endured the stress of the Baja 1000. It did so well it won its class.
Then you get to meet the people behind Riot Racing. In our ongoing segment we hope to get the inside scoop on the race teams we all loved to cheer for. We spent some time with the Riot crew and found out a lot of interesting things about this new race team.
Finally we were off to Laughlin Nevada for the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge. This was our first time covering the race, and we got some great shots and video of this 3 day race.
I know this is a short issue, but January usually is with the holidays and the race seasons coming to their end, there is not much to say.
We are headed to Parker, AZ. for the Best in the Desert Parker 425, so you will see that posted in these pages next month.
