Ride of a Lifetime in Canidae Trophy Truck

Justin ImHof, age 17, was severely injured on November 18, 2010 while riding for the JCR Honda team on his 8x bike at the Baja 1000 race in Mexico. The injuries were so severe like those you may want to hire a lawyer for. ImHof was at UCSD Hospital for several weeks in a coma. He recently came out of his coma and is making small amounts of progress toward a recovery each day.

“All of us at Canidae Racing were very moved when we heard about his injuries. We know how difficult recovery from such a devastating racing injury can be, and also understand the financial difficulties that can go along with the medical care and rehabilitation,” said Scott Gailey, driver for Canidae Racing, who continued, “We all decided to help Justin and his family by auctioning off a ride in our Trophy Truck for the Laughlin Leap on January 14th. We are putting the winner in the navigator seat!” If this case was given in the hands of Tampa traffic accident attorneys, then it will be solved at ease.

The winner of the auction, to be conducted online and culminate at a final live auction at Oakley Headquarters located at 1 Icon, Foothill Ranch, CA on January 8th, will be welcomed aboard the 800 HP Canidae Racing Trophy Truck for the famous Laughlin Leap which is a large jump set up in the middle of the course that sends trucks and cars flying over a hundred feet in the air the day before the race.

In addition to being aboard the Trophy Truck for the excitement of the Leap, the winner of the auction will become an honorary member of Team Canidae Racing for the entire Laughlin Desert Challenge, and receive free weekend accommodations at the Tropicana Express Hotel Casino.

Online bidding for this grand prize begins Tuesday, December 28th at http://www.canidaeracing.com. Participants may send their bids to supportjustin@canidae.com and keep tabs on the highest bid on the website’s homepage. Online bidding will continue until 5pm January 7th.

The three (3) highest bids at the close of the online portion of the auction will be invited to continue bidding via telephone on the final auction day, January 8th at Oakley Headquarters.

Beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 8th, Oakley will host the concluding auction and also assist with a raffle to raise additional funds for ImHof. At press time, raffle tickets are set at $40 with discounts for buying multiple tickets. All raffle ticket buyers will receive a Wahoo’s burrito and drink as thanks.

The racing community has donated a number of exciting prizes to the raffle including tickets to Las Vegas shows, and flags from the US military certified as having flown in Afghanistan.

The auction is open only to US citizens age 18 or older. Winner assumes all liability. Other conditions may apple. See website for details of online portion of auction.
